Bike rentals are a great Zion activity for the family and individuals. Biking in Zion allows guests to visit the main canyon and small hikes while avoiding crowded shuttles.

The scenic bike trail from the Zion Outfitter to the top of the canyon is 7.5 miles with a slight incline. The ride begins on the Pa’rus trail which is the only bike trail accessible in Zion National Park and is completely paved. From the end of the Pa’rus trail, bikers may continue to ride up the main road as it winds along the canyon floor, ending at the Temple of Sinawava.

The road is used only by shuttles from March through November so there is no need to worry about riding in traffic. Bikes can also be placed on the front of shuttle buses at any time if bikers become tired or prefer to skip the uphill.
